The 127 Series Adapter is a SAE straight thread, 1/2"-8 male adapter with a white nylon insert and 2 self-sealing fluorocarbon O-rings. It has a brass body with Fluorocarbon rubber rings that are reusable. Connected to 127 Series male pipe ends, this tube can be used on rubber hose or GPH hose. It can be installed using a hand clamp - 172 series clamp (sold separately).

All male threads are steel while female threads are brass. Rubber Hose that uses 127 Ball-end joint adapters is water-resistant rubber hose used in heavy duty trucking and construction markets. The 127 ball end joint adapter is reusable, however it is recommended that the O-ring inside be replaced after each use.

A Ball-End Adapter is a fitting used to adapt the tubing of one size to the end of another size by means of a steel ball, usually located on one end of the adapter, that fits tightly inside another part’s smaller diameter. Ball-End Adapters allow for quick and easy connection during installation or repair operations when there is not enough space to accommodate traditional slip connection fittings.
